SSS Mining Services formed in 2001 as Secondary Support Services, introducing a total quality service to the underground coal industry in the South Coast. In 2009 Secondary Support Services evolved to become SSS Mining Services, to reflect the wide range of capabilities and and expertise offered by the organisation. SSS is a privately owned company.

SSS covers all facets of mining which include secondary support, ventilation, development driveage, supplementary labour, drivehead & conveyor installations, roof excavation specialists, hire equipment, fall recovery and workshop recoveries.

SSS is an innovative company with the ideas, resources and personnel injecting a new wave of thought to contracting in the mining industry. "Solutions not problems through innovation, motivation and high safety standards" is the company motto and has been adhered to closely from conception in every facet of our company.

The SSS team combines the skills of electrical, mechanical, mining, operational experts, and project management expertise to maintain project management to optimum efficiency. SSS currently engages a core group of 80 employees throughout the South Coast mining area consisting of:

• Experienced supervision across all shifts who have practical management experience in secondary support from a mining, mechanical and electrical background
